Sustainable Design + Technology

The Department of Architecture seeks a creative and innovative faculty member for a full-time tenure-track position to teach in the department in the areas of sustainable design and technology, engaging critical contemporary urban issues such as livability, shelter, and environmental quality. The position is anticipated to be at the rank of assistant or associate professor, appropriate to the successful applicant’s experience. Interior Architecture, Design + History/Theory

The Department of Architecture seeks a creative and innovative faculty member for a full-time tenure-track position to teach in the Interior Architecture program in the areas of design studio and history/ theory. The position is anticipated to be at the rank of assistant professor. Visiting/Adjunct Faculty Pool (Eugene and Portland) 

The Department of Architecture at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for our Pro Tem teaching and research pools. Positions are limited duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding and performance. These appointments are contingent on funding.  Salary is dependent on education and experience. Distinguished Visiting Professors

The Frederick Charles Baker Chair in Architectural Design. The Baker Chair is an endowed chair with a special focus on the study of light and lighting as a phenomenon in architectural design. (one-term position)

The Pietro Belluschi Distinguished Professor in Architectural Design. Belluschi professors are prominent architects and architectural educators who will bring true distinction and unique opportunities to the University of Oregon. (one-term position)

The Margo Grant Walsh Professor in Interior Architectural Design. This professorship supports a prominent visiting designer, architect, or educator to teach, lecture, and counsel future generations of design students. (one-term position)
