Kyuho Ahn is an associate professor of interior architecture. He earned an M.F.A. in interior design, receiving a Research Excellence Award, from Iowa State University. Prior to the UO, he taught interior design at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Oklahoma State University and at California State University, Fresno. He was previously the coordinator of the Leevera Pepin Endowment Museum at Oklahoma State University. He is LEED-accredited and certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification and has significant professional design experience in space planning and design and project management, which includes supervising design and installation of more than 500 franchised retail stores in Korea and China, a free standing museum, and several trade shows. His primary research is in developing a design assessement and application model describing human behavior within a built-in environment.
